Hi, I'm Jess

I am the heart behind Love from Tallinn Photography. The name comes from a very special place in my life: Tallinn, Estonia. It's where I grew up, where I met my partner and where I welcomed my first child into the world. That chapter shaped so much of who I am, and wanted my business to carry a little piece of it with me.

These days, home is Sydney's Northern Beaches, where I live with my partner and our two kids. I've called Sydney home for the past 9 years and somewhere along the way my love of taking photos turned into this little business of mine. Being a mum myself has made me love photographing families even more - all the little moments that feel so ordinary now, but end up meaning so much later.

I've always loved taking photos, especially of people, but I'm not looking for everything to be perfect. You don't need your kids to sit still, smile on cue or spend the whole session looking at the camera. In fact, most of the time I'll encourage you to look at each other instead.

I want you to play with your kids, cuddle them, chase them, laugh with them and just be together. I'll gently guide you along the way, but there's no pressure to perform for the camera. Often it's the imperfect, in-between moments that end up meaning the most - because they're the ones that really feel like you.
